ABOUT ME
I’ve been there.
A true international with a local flare. After growing up in the USA, Honduras, and France, in 2007 I graduated from McGill University (Canada) with a Bachelor’s in International Development Studies. I then settled in Brussels in 2009. Native in English and French, I am also proficient in Spanish and Dutch.
In my 17+ years of professional experience in international organisations I navigated multiple structural changes. Before entering the association sphere, I worked in executive learning, international law firms, an EU institution, a large charity, and volunteered at youth organisations. I then learned how a European trade association works from the inside out, with roles in communications, project management, operations, governance and member relations.
I bring a mix of strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills. Commited to operational efficiency and collaboration, I’m known for finding ways to make things work better. Colleagues also remember me as the one who naturally facilitates meetings or takes the microphone. I ‘translate’ the ideas and needs of people who sometimes don’t understand each other.
In 2026 I set up my practice as an independent consultant focused on association management.
